Over many music production software, people still choose Fl studio because it’s beneficial and powerful software.īefore downloading Fl Studio 20 for pc, most importantly, let’s first talk something about Fl studio, Its requirements, and some key highlights. But hopefully this gives you a bit more to think about.Hello Folks, In this article, we’ll provide you a link to install and download Fl Studio 20 full version for free. I won't draw a conclusion because I haven't tried the Akai. It would depend on how easy it is to see what you are doing on that tiny screen. I don't know if that would make things easier though. With that you can supposedly control any plugins right from the controller. One thing that would sway me toward the Akai is the free VIP (normally $99). And Akai of course make the Fire which is specifically for FL Studio. The Arturia mentions being compatible with FL Studio on their website and seemed to work very well straight out of the box. I don't think either keyboard is in the list of MIDI controllers in FL Studio, but I imagine both will be very easy to set up. It also has a reasonable grand piano, but nothing like the UVI. I've seen Air Hybrid2 for $1 in some sales and version 3 is $14.99 at the moment.įL Studio has some very nice synths but unless you buy the All Plugins Edition (on sale now) you only get a few of them. Air and Sonivox are ok but they are always on sale for a low price. If it was just down to the software I would choose the Arturia, because it has the UVI grand piano and the Arturia collection. However, I think if you really want it to feel like a piano you would be buying an 88 or at least a 61 key.Įverything on the Arturia looks and feels well made to me. I know the Akai is semi weighted so may be even nicer to play. The key mechanism felt tight and strong to me. But I did just try a new Arturia Keylab essential 61 yesterday. I have no idea about the registration of a secondhand keyboard with Akai and I haven't tried an Akai MPK. It's a hard question to answer unless you have tried both keyboards. WHich of these 2 models is more convenient and user friendly with FL STUDIO 20? I can get a brand new Arturia key lab 49 for US$200 on black Friday today while ill have to pay US$300 for a used AKAI MPK 249 plus US$90 in shipping to Panama.Ĥ. Is it really necessary to download all the software that comes with this midi keyboard? SONIVOX and AIR HYBRID or does the FL STUDIO have superior sounds and effects? I would only like to purchase this keyboard if its just plug and play.ģ. Will i have any issue with this used but mint keyboard as previous owner had it registered in Akai website? Any software conflict at all? I did register my Akai MPK mini and have been using it this way.Ģ. Nevertheless, i have some queries regarding this midi keyboard:ġ. Due to the key size limitations and other extras, i would like to purchase a mint and used AKAI MPK 249 Midi Keyboard as upgrade. Its been a year since ive been learning to use FL STUDIO 20 with Akai MPK MINI 2 Midi Keyboard.
